Children Benefit Immensely From Yoga
Have you ever pondered over the amount of stress that children are  exposed to these days? Schools with their own share of curricular and extra curricular vitae, homework, presentations, and competitions add a lot of burden to their lives! Childhood just seems to flash by in a wink of the eye. Besides, they also have to face emotional hurdles and adolescence before they finally mature into young men and women.

Yoga therapy and yoga training, helps children to cope up with all these hassles. Children, who learn yoga at an early age, grow up to be competitive individuals, but do not loose their sense of compassion and maturity. This primarily happens because they are taught to relate to their inner spirituality. They cultivate and educate their personality to the fullest.

Yoga benefits children in many ways. By regularly following the different yoga poses and postures, it physically benefits the child and improves coordination, strength, flexibility and alertness. It helps in establishing a cohesive relationship with the outer natural world and enlightens them from within. Most of the yoga asana are structured around meditation and spiritual practices. Performing these asanas give children a sense of calm and peace to the mind.

By imitating the various poses of nature and its beings, the child learns to appreciate, love and express solidarity with nature. For example, while learning or practicing the Simhasana, they realize what it is to be aggressive and how to keep a check on one's aggressive behavior. They also learn to appreciate the strength and might of the lion.
