Yogi Tea Offers Numerous Benefits

Unlike most fitness regimes that are just restricted to physical exercise, yoga works towards achieving holistic health. As an initiative to offer you enhanced health, new age yoga makes use of yogi tea or chai. A traditional beverage, yogi tea is known to offer various health benefits.

This tea was introduced by Yogi Bhajan, an Indian spiritual teacher who also introduced Kundalini Yoga to the west. He is also the founder of 'Yogi Tea' brand, which can easily be found at a health store near you.

Initially, yogi tea was offered by Yogi Bhajan to his students after the yoga session. His students opened Golden Temple vegetarian restaurants through the US, Canada and Europe in the 1970s. The first batches of Yogi Tea were sold through these restaurants. The tea received an overwhelming response and the 'Yogi Tea' company was launched soon in 1984. Today, Yogi Tea offers a wide range of ayurvedic teas that offer various health benefits.
