Pack it along When going for a vacation, make sure that you pack your yoga equipment along. Since you do not a need a lot of things to practice yoga, this will not be difficult. Just take along your yoga mat and yoga pants. Your yoga mat could even serve as a cushioning for any fragile items that you may need to carry along.
Listen to yoga You can easily download yoga audios from the internet. Just download them and you could easily transfer them to your iPod or your mp3 player. Listen to them as you go about practicing yoga. For maximum convenience, it is suggested that you look for wireless headphones.
Get your printouts If you find it difficult to remember yoga postures, then getting printouts of pictures of various yoga postures would be a good idea. In addition, you could also jot down a few points on how to practice a given yoga pose. A single printout containing both the pictures as well as instructions will give you a quick overview of the yoga poses. Just go through these prints and you will be able to plan a successful yoga session for yourself.
Go local Since yoga has become a worldwide phenomenon, you are likely to find yoga classes wherever you go. Surf the web and look for local yoga classes. With these local classes, you will not just be able to maintain your regular fitness routine but you will also get to learn new ways of practicing yoga.
Head to a yoga hotel These days, there are several hotels that provide you with yoga amenities. They have an in house yoga instructor and several yoga sessions are conducted within the vicinity of a hotel. So, before you check in to a particular hotel, make sure that you check for the availability of yoga facilities.
Yoga in a DVD You can also carry yoga videos along with you in a DVD. Carry a portable DVD player along side too. Put on the DVD in your room and get back to your fitness regime.
Brush your Sanskrit All over Europe and Asia, yoga poses are taught by their Sanskrit names. So, it is important that you know the Sanskrit names of various postures before you head for your journey. Knowing the Sanskrit name will help you easily identify the pose that is being taught.
