Massage Your Body Through Yoga
Nothing works better to relax you than a good massage. And now you do not need anyone to give you that therapeutic massage. There are different yoga massage techniques that help you massage different parts of your body on your own. Here are a few yoga procedures that will help you in self massage.

Massage for headaches
If you suffer from frequent headaches then this one will be of great help for sure. People with chronic headaches can also benefit from this yoga technique.

Requirements
* Two tennis balls
* Sock

Procedure
Put the two tennis balls inside the sock and tie the sock from the open end. Now lie down on the floor or any comfortable surface. Place a pillow below your knees. Now put the sock below your head. Make sure that the sock is placed exactly at the base line of the skull. Lie down in the same position for 10-20 minutes.

Tight back
Long working hours can lead to stiff back muscles. This yoga procedure will help you release your back and provide relief. Practice this on a daily basis to relax your neck, shoulders and back.

Requirements
* A foam roller (Height -3 ft, Diameter - 6 inches)
* Two tennis balls tied in a sock

Procedure

Lie straight on the roller. Your knees should be bent and your feet should be touching the floor. Keep on lying straight on the roller for a few minutes. Once you are comfortably seated on the roller, you can start moving the roller from one side to the other. Try this for 20 seconds.

Another alteration that you can make with this yoga exercise is to place your hands below your head. Roll your back slowly to and fro. This will help release and relax the spine.

To get a deeper massage using this method, simply place the sock with tennis balls below your back. Keep your hands rested below your head. Roll on the roller and you will be able to massage your spine even thoroughly.

Sore feet
Sore feet are a common problem in the present day scenario. This simple yoga procedure will help you get rid of the soreness in your feet. For better results, it is advised that you practice this for a few minutes daily every day.

Requirements
* Golf balls
OR
* Empty glass soda bottles (Put them in the freezer so that they are chilled)

Sit on a chair and place the golf bottle or the empty bottle under your foot. Now, roll the bottle or ball with the help of your foot. Repeat this for a few minutes. Practice this every day for permanent relief.
