Hatha Style Yoga
Various types of Hatha style yoga are practiced today. Although, these different styles base themselves on the same yoga postures and poses, all of them are applied for various reasons. The term Hatha combines many of the poses of Yoga. Hatha Style Yoga is known for its slow and gentle pace. Hatha Style Yoga is a good way for a beginner to prepare for the tougher yoga poses.

Since its inception, Yoga has been continuously evolving with new yoga styles. Yoga evolves as a way to meet the personal needs of different types of individuals. Among these styles, Hatha Yoga Style has become the most popular form of Yoga in the US. This style continues to evolve and flourish. Through the Hatha Style of Yoga, one may be able to create a sort of balance of the mind, soul and the body. It stretches on coordination between the deep breathing exercises and body movements.

Apart from the Hatha Yoga Style, there are three major styles of Yoga such as Astanga, Iyengar and Viniyoga. Among Hatha yoga styles, Ananda Yoga is a very important one. This classical style of Hatha Yoga involves asanas and pranayama, and enables the practitioner to experience the oneness of the individual self with the universal self. Two other important Hatha yoga styles are Anusara yoga and Bikram yoga. The philosophy of Anusara Yoga emphasizes mainly on proper alignment.
