4. While you are trying to touch your feet make sure that you do not fold your knees even slightly.

5. Do not round your back.

6. Keep hold of your ankles or shins, whichever is within your reach.

Beginner level
At a beginning stage, you could place some soft sitting under the buttocks. Padding like a blanket will help. Instead of trying to make your nose reach the knees, let your belly reach your thighs. This will help to keep your spine long and stretched.

In the beginning stage, you may not be able to successfully touch your feet. Do not over exert yourself and force yourself to bend more. Stop coming forward as soon as you feel the space between your pubis and navel shortening. Lift up yourself a little and then begin to move forward again.

Advanced level
If you find it easy to grab the soles of your feet then you could place a block distant from your feet. Try holding this block instead of the feet.
